8-year-old girl impresses Burutai by swimming 50m in Jabi lake

Divine Momoh is an 8-year-old girl who got the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General T.Y Burutai speechless. The young girl swam a distance of 50m in Jabi lake, Abuja. This is an extraordinary feat as one would not expect a child that young to be able to swim that distance.
Barrister Solomon Dalung, the minister of youth and sport was equally impressed with the young girl at the Nigerian army sports festival.
Thousands of people drown yearly and it is good that a girl this young has learnt a survival skill.
